Based on the analysis, it was concluded that the inflight product category is very complex and requires considering several stakeholders with the view to optimizing supply chain process and delivering quality services. In general, it was found that the supply chain operations should be sufficiently optimized to achieve economies of scale and reduce costs. In the meanwhile, this process becomes more complicated when the case of the contract adherence and appropriate supplier selection methodology arises, requiring having a highly experienced and talented procurement and supply team on the ground.
